BIO:    Candace Art Randle is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in North Carolina. Her work explores grounding, desire, and creative fertility through painting, mixed media, and tactile experiences that invite viewers back into the body.

Drawing from symbolism, ritual, and everyday materials, Randle creates art that feels both intimate and deliberate—designed to be lived with rather than merely observed. Her practice often bridges fine art, experiential installations, and functional objects, emphasizing presence, process, and emotional resonance.

Through exhibitions, pop-ups, and collaborative spaces, Candace Art Randle’s work centers art as a stabilizing force—one that anchors, activates, and quietly transforms. She is currently fundraising for a mobile art gallery.

  • ANSWER 3.     Meditation and talking to my husband, lol.

QUESTION 1.    Your practice is described as process-driven and materially grounded. How do you decide which medium—or combination of mediums—a particular idea needs, and what signals tell you when a piece has found its material “language”?

  • ANSWER 1.    Its more about what form the 'idea' wants to be in. In other words, I play around with the same concept in different mediums to give the idea, options.
