  • ANSWER 2.   I was widowed at 27 years old, my muse, my husband, passed away. I have also been dealing with mental health issues, including bipolar and OCD since I was around 14 years old.

QUESTION 3.  As you continue evolving your style, what recent experiment or technique has surprised you the most in how it expanded your creative possibilities?

  • ANSWER 3.     I love mixing acrylic paints with spray paint, it just gives such a dimension to my pieces. I have also been messing with photography, and it’s such a wonderful and versatile medium.

QUESTION 1.    Several of your landscapes feel dreamlike yet grounded. What visual cues do you rely on to keep a piece suspended between reality and imagination?

  • ANSWER 1.    I rely on a mix of real-world textures and soft details to keep my landscapes balanced between surrealism and realism.
