QUESTION 3.  How do you give something so small a sense of presence or emotional weight?

  • ANSWER 3.     I insist to handmade and color all my creations without mold or machine so every pieces could illustrate its true uniqueness. I use the tiny bits of equipments and the special material imported to ensure the quality and durability in such a scale. I hope people can truly see the details in my creation and connect with them.

QUESTION 1.     What draws you to working small—control, intimacy, or the quiet magic of scale?

  • ANSWER 1.     I strongly believe 1:12 is the best scale to minimize the flowers and plants without sacrify their details and precision. Each pieces are unique and can be colored slightly different so they looks to the real plants and flowers in a dollhouse. My hands and fingers are small so I could shape the scale and details in a different way than using any tools.
